These are independent engineers, or other experienced and qualified individuals, who take responsibility for managing the Department of Health’s safety guidance.
You can consult our AEs on matters relating to current Health Technical Memorandums (HTMs) for mechanical and electrical systems, decontamination, medical gas and water.
They’re also available to inspect and advise on existing and proposed systems, structures and processes, to consult on current practice against best practice, to consult on current Health and Safety issues, to help with dispute resolution and to witness and hand over new systems.
